Start a count of every area, or narrow it to one, then scan the items physically there. Nothing is added or used up (read only); the audit just shows what you have scanned against what your inventory expects, so missing or out of place items stand out. If your count turns up differences, you can choose to apply them when you are done; nothing changes unless you do.
